  • Name of the organization: Vadodara Smart City Development Ltd
  • Project Duration: 6 months
  • Main Purpose: The main purpose is to enhance the safety and security, improve efficiency of municipal services and promote a better quality of life for residents. In order to achieve these objectives, this project came in shape to foster the development of a robust ICT infrastructure that supports digital applications and ensures seamless steady state operations, traffic management, surveillance, emergency response mechanisms and real time tracking of services and vital city metrics throughout the city and in government departments.
  • Solutions Implemented: CCTV system (having Video Management Software + Video Analytics) solution, ANPR solution and Central Hardware (Server, Storage and networking).

Project Highlights

  • Integration of feeds/data from of smart sensor/devices such as CCTV Cameras, ANPR System, ATCS Signals, Variable Messaging Sign Boards, Emergency Call Box, Public Address System, Environmental Sensors, GPS Tracking for fire department vehicles, etc.
  • The CCC is operating on an integrated collaborative framework where inputs are received from different Government / Civic departments such as fire, police, water/sanitation transport, meteorology, etc.
  • Unique design of field devices: Each field device (CCTV camera poles, ANPR gantries) are designed aesthetically to integrate with city’s skylines, giving its unique edge of “Clean and Green Vadodara” and “Sanskari Nagari Vadodara”.
